Klipsch KG4

For people who like em, the 4 and the 4.2 are an incredible deal considering the sound quality.

Old thread revival! What amps are you gents using for your KG4's?? I am in the market and willing to spend a few hundred. Used to have a Yamaha CR-820 that I think would have been great....perhaps I'll hunt for another...

My experience was Yamaha and Denon are just too bright for most Klipsch speakers, while older Sansui and Harman Kardon had a nice overall presentation. I sold my Forte 2s along with an AU-517 to the same gal who wanted a nice speaker and amp combo and she really liked the sound also. Klipsch are really efficient so you don't need to go big on the wattage. You could even consider a modest tube amp.

You might get some more responses in the speaker forum asking which amp or receiver to use with the KG4.
