OK, I admit it I sometimes reply to those sorts of ads occasionally hoping above all hope for he big score. What's more fun is to answer the ads in the "cars for sale" section that are late model being sold for about 20% of blue book. Funny thing is they always want your personal email address so they can send you a personal email with how the transaction will work. I always respond back with my name@local sherrif dept.gov. for the email address. Funny, I've never gotten a further response. Busted!

I once responded to an ad like this. I think it just said "Denon receiver" with no picture. I kindly asked if they could let me know at least the model number. This is the response I got:

"Too busy. Sorry. You can come buy it."

I didn't.

What are people thinking when they post a craigslist ad like this ?

I don't know, I find it as informative and useful as this thread, and trying to figure out your title. People use very limited speech these days and can't even spell out what they are trying to say. They use far to many acronyms and expect others to know what they are saying.

BTW If you read the site rules, that are spelled out clearly you will see that

1) you not supposed to post Craigslist & eBay links outside Dollars and Sents

Thanks Juno . I`m just on here passing time and having fun with guys who like audio and equipment and thought it was an innocent enough thread. I don`t know what I did to basically be called a dumb a _ _ ? Oh well, my wife does it pretty much every day so my skin has gotten pretty thick in my old age !
