Yamaha C-80

Have any of you had the Yamaha c-80? Is it any good? I like a lot of the old Yamaha stuff, but have never come across this one.

Well sure, it is a great preamp. I use one as the core of my system, and it does many things for me including allowing me to run two of my amps bridged via the inverted pre-outs. It does have some issues that tend to crop up, such as broken solder joints, but very worth it to get fixed! It is the same as the C-85.

I've got a C-80 as well. Very nice pre with a great phono stage.
Budget in a bit of repair money for reflowing the RCA connectors on the rear and deglueing a few parts inside.
