Find IC21 and IC31 these are thermal sensors on the same heatsink as the output transistors. They are the heat sensors for the fans I believe. Try directing external heat directly on them . If possible. They are a 3 pin device in a TO-92 package.( LM61C1Z )
That is where I was at with the hairdryer.

Are they 24vdc fans?
According to the drawing they show 24v and 1v.
I thought I got the IC's hot but maybe not enough, I will try again tomorrow.
I will also remeasure the W251 +5v Stby, MG and THM 0.85 to 1.0. I not sure what MG is.
The sensors tells the CPU to enable the fans at a predetermined set point. Good chance you have a CPU issue with no new spare parts available per the schematic. I just don't see either scenario of both sensors being bad or both fans being bad.
I am happy to post that I followed the instruction to reset the CPU, now I have full sound. One item still an issue is the cooling fans are not running. Therefore that error code in memory of THM/OLV protection detected excessive heat in the output.

The MX-A5000 turned into a major nightmare so say the least!How did you reset the cpu? I have an MX-A5200 doing the same thing.
