Yamaha AS-300 amplifier-any thoughts on this one as I need a new unit! This looked good matched with my small boston acoustics speakers and my 1000 watts Boston acoustics pv-1000 subwoofer. Need an opinion or more tonight! Thanks!

“Yamaha A-S300” has neither “monitoring” function (possibility to duly connect an “outbord” sound processor (equalizers, a 3-head tape deck with the possibility to monitor the sound being recorded, a compressor, a reverberator etc.) (“TAPE MONITOR” button as Yamaha AX-397, or separate “INPUT” – “REC OUT” selectors as Yamaha A-S500, A-S700 or AX-497),
nor the possibility to record a source while listening to another (separate “INPUT” – “REC OUT” selectors as Yamaha A-S500, A-S700 or AX-497).
