You Can't Please Everyone, I Guess

Believe me, I would have very much appreciated your packing efforts on the turntable that arrived here yesterday! I've had good experiences shipping turntables with this proxy shipper, but whoever packed this turntable dropped the ball this time.

This is a risk that one takes when having turntables shipped this way, so it's not like I had the false impression that it would never happen to me. Hopefully, we can resolve this amicably without me having to open a PayPal damage claim, as they'd probably ban me from the service for that.

The moral of the story is: When a turntable is packed well, be happy, even if it takes a few hours to open!

It is, isn't it? The unit spins at 100 rpm, which I suspected from the original listing, but I was planning on getting it serviced locally if that were the case. Now, I don't even know if that's worth doing once I get compensation, due to the dent on the front of the plinth. I suppose I'll have to see.
