You know you have crappy audio when its used as speaker stands. The speakers have plastic trim around them with chrome centers.when your realistic nova 6s sound better.Sorry bose 301 series 2s you lose.
when the speakers have blown drivers. No-brainer but some people continue to play their gear with obvious faults present. Was at an outdoor function this weekend and there was a DJ (who was supposedly good) and his self powered JBLs sounded jus plain distorted. I asked him to see the board and nothing was clipping. No overload LED on the speakers either. I suggested that he had a bad horn tweeter and he scoffed at me. Bye bye, i said. It was sonic harrassment to be near that booth.
You stuff newspaper into the ports on your speakers and they sound better .
Your "wiered" remote says "Yank Hard!"
Your speaker boxes are made of paper machee .
You tried to use it as an ancore but it floats .
You drag out your camera to take a picture of your cat for the running AK thread "Cats on audio gear"----and your cat refuses to go near it or sit by it.
