In yesterday I was an idiot: I wrecked my copy of Barrington Levy’s Robin Hood by dropping it on the RCM. Later in the day, I was in Toronto for a show and hit a record store up the street where I was able to secure a replacement copy. But then I also bought a second copy of a Public Image Ltd. record that I forgot I already had. In better news, I also picked up the new Lee Fields & The Expressions album.

I occasionally go by the local goodwill looking for odds and ends for a cabin we own. The records their are usually a lost cause. Today there was this. Not sure how it ended up there with a bunch of scratched Ferrante & Teichner albums. It is a sealed sound track to the movie Hanna. The Chemical Brothers did the score. Apparently there were 1000 of these made and all were given as promos. A “re-issue” came out but this is the original. Great ambient electronic. I got lucky.

I've drifted away from being a completist Vinyl collector over the years. Made an exception this time .. purchased the only legacy Gerry Rafferty solo album I don't own from eBay .. North & South 1988.

Great pickup. That is my favorite Sabbath.

Yea this one used to belong to a radio station,it has thier call letters written on the jacket...

Its actually the only other BS record I like besides the first in 1970!

Back story...grew up North of Philly and use to look forward for some clouds to move in and I would be able to pick up WFIL. Great AM station that had some of the best DJs in the area. Well saw these for sale on the non-profit auction site and picked them up. To my surprise 3 were still sealed! Just for nostalgia more than sound quality!

I picked up Gogo Penguins - Humdrum Star, finest new release I have heard in a few years and the vinyl is cut exceptionally well. Wide grove two LP set.
