Your Latest Additions (LP)......

Friday I decided to treat myself at the record shop. Picked up:
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - "Fishing for Fishies"
Chelsea Wolfe - "The Abyss"
Daughter of Swords - "Dawnbreaker"

I find King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard can be hit or miss; some stuff I really like and others not so much. This was a pretty enjoyable album though. I had only heard Chelsea Wolfe's work with Russian Circles, so I was interested in her solo stuff. And Daughter of Swords is one of the women from Mountain Man, which I like, so I decided to have a listen.

All in all, decent purchases.

A musician I follow on twitter recently posted she was selling some records from her collection. I did not recognize any of the albums she was showing, but asked if I could buy a selection of her choosing. Pricing and quantity was agreed upon and last week these arrived:

Stuart Dempster - In the Great Abbey of Clement VI
Helena Hauff - Actio Reactio
Charles Manier - Untitled
Pulse Emitter/Date Palms/Expo '70/Face Plant - 4 Way Split

Over all, I am pleased with all four of these albums.

I was too lazy to take a picture of all the stuff I brought back from my work trip to DC last week, but I hit the stores here today and picked up:

Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers: Bustin’ Loose
Black Sabbath: Heaven and Hell (promo)
Jim Croce: Time in a Bottle
Buzzcocks: Love Bites (new pressing on Domino)

A friend lets me pick through records he finds and l do the same for him.
We don't have the same taste so there's no conflict in that department.
