Your Latest Additions (LP)......

Going to skip the picture. Just got the new Iron Maiden album this morning. It's 3LP. And 82 minutes. Have we gone over the deep end on spreading the songs out over too many sides? Pink Floyd's The Wall is 81 minutes and fits very comfortably on 2LP. What the hell?

Maybe they felt they would get better sound quality by spreading the grooves out on a 3rd disc who knows. If the price falls in line with a dual disc lp of that quality then it may be worth it .

If that is the case, pretty sure I paid way too much for a plain black version.

Well we all know how crazy vinyl has been price wise lately with no signs of leveling off yet, so hopefully you enjoy the album and it sounds good to you. I know there are a handful of albums I’ve bought that I was not happy with quality wise and I felt I paid way too much for what I was getting. It’s the main reason I stick with the heavy hitter pressing companies but even they miss sometimes.

It's Maiden, so I have no doubt that I will enjoy it. Just wondering why I paid $50 for an album that probably should have been no more than $30.
