Bought 3 Flamenco LPs today @ the Goodwill. They look petty interesting, not the 'run of the mill' ones and one of them is a double album. It's worth a $3 gamble.
I've found some pretty great foreign LPs that way. Found a Spanish 'Traditional' LP box set a while back. Looked special, not regular, caught my attention. Just too serious lookin'. Outstanding Spanish 'Traditional" - 4 LPs, $1.
It just ' looked right!'
It's all part of the game - ya never know.
Found 50 each South American M & M- LPs, almost all 'Traditional' music, cost $50. A $50 gamble. One like new Brazilian album is a classic and worth $45 album so the rest of the 49 records only cost me $5. (Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador, 2 from Brazil, 1 Cuban, 2 andies flute music, all M & M- LPs ... all of them played 'like new'! One is great, 2 are keepers, 9 are 'desired', I know the artists, but really not good at all to me, maybe if you understood the words (kept them for resale). BUT... 38 of them were 'way too hard to swallow!!!' Kept all the record paper liners and maybe 6 jackets, and gave the rest back to the GW.
