YS Altecs

Found these Altec bookshelfs at a YS. They sound surprisingly good. Any opinions on them?

Very decent speaker. I ran my set for quite some time, before a nasty receiver decided to pass DC through one of them.

Heppner woofer with a CTS tweeter, if I remember correctly.

Hey MJarve: aren't you missing the foam anti diffraction squares around your tweeters? Sold my TLS 50s in a moment of great foolishness, but know them well.

I'm experimenting with some other tweeters right now- Polk SL-2000 Silver Coils. But the original tweeters did not have it either. I've seen pics of them both ways, however.
