Zero bass Coral 12tx-50

Picked up a pair of Coral 12 tx-50 today. One of the pair sounds great, the other, not so much. There is not much bass, and even the mids and highs are a little muted. Any thoughts? Is it shot? Any info or advice appreciated.

Start with the crossover. Also check internal wiring make sure nothing has come loose.

It may be that the roll surround has become hard with age and if this is the case then it will need to be replaced.

Thank you guys for the replies. My first foray into speaker trouble shooting. Pulled the speaker out of the cab yesterday. Noticed that is was mounted upside down, so i hooked it up and set it upright. Played a couple of albums through it and it sounded pretty good. Gave it a good once over and found a few small things. The glue holding one of the wires going through the cone had broke free. A loose lead on the terminal block that probably needs resoldered.
After examining i hooked it back up and now it sounds worse than ever. Really raspy. So i am guessing the voice coil is shot.
But i am a noob at this and it is an odd tri-axial design, so not the best to learn on. (or is it?)
