I dunno how long that cab will be available. It's a 'special' which frequently means limited quantities. There used to be a seller on That Auction Site who had a number of different pro audio cabs cut for 'horn' 2-ways available.
I'll look into that and see what might be available.
I'd have bought the PR trap cabs but they're the same internal size as 3 or 4 pairs I have on hand now.

I was supposed to do a pair of Steampunk tube amps for Boing Boing Video but I chickened out when a 92uf 2kv filter cap the size of a loaf of bread blew up at my chest. Dennis may yet inherit those parts and make something entertaining out of them.

Not to get off topic....too much. But here is what I am doing with your Rek-O-Kut Ross.
Stand back folks. He's got power tools! I totally forgot about that turntable. It'll undoubtedly be like no other when you're done with it. Is that arm from Newman?
No, I got that from Cosmos. It is the Infinity Black Widow. That carbon fiber tube is the replacement tube. I still need to cut it down and make the headshell. I still have 10 hours of hogging and swooping to do on the plinth. I am polishing the platter tonight.

Adapter for PE Trap to front
Pics of the PE trapezoidal enclosure adapter to move front baffle to the front of the box. The bottom is 1/4" X 22.75" X 2" the piece to the right with the drill bit through it is the angled part from PE. The other piece is cut = to the thickness of the front baffle it is used just to get the angled part in the right place. Glue is put on the angled part and clamped to the bottom piece. Then both parts are placed so the edge of the bottom piece is flush with the front of the sides. Glued and clamped. With this in place the front baffle can be pressed into the box with the front flush with the front edges of the top and bottom.

Anyone care to speculate how much box volume is consumed by the QSC waveguide?
I can suggest how to make the determination:
Fill a vessel (5 gal. bucket, perhaps) to the brim with water. Place the waveguide with driver attached loosely in a plastic garbage bag, and submerge it driver first to the depth of the rear of the baffle.
Remove, and calculate the volume of the water displaced.

His geometry is different, but there's the idea.
Of note: No pics up yet, but he has moved his woofer to the rear of the baffle to minimize a phase/time alignment issue with the QSC waveguide and the Eminence woofer, I believe it is, with which he's building. Indeed, by my quick measurement, the front plate of the compression drive sits ~1.25" further back than with the standard Selenium on eWaveguide combo.... :yes:

AR/Fried/JBL hybrid working.
Here's a look at the sat/sub system I ginned up. I have both channels playing and I'm really liking it. The crossover board on the floor is only driving the top end. The crossovers to the mid and sub are both active.
I added a notch filter on the B110 that I copped from several different crossovers used for this driver. it's 25uf/.85mh/47 Ohms. Centered on 1100 hz with a peak of 25 Ohms. It takes a bit of shout out of the mids.
After tinkering with the relative levels of the drivers I'm now using no system EQ at all. I haven't measured anything yet so there may be some surprises in store but I think I've got it dialed in pretty well by ear.
The next step will be to gin up a crossover for the B110 with a 2500hz lowpass and 100 hz highpass so I can run the sats off of a single amp with no active crossover. This will not be trivial.
I might as well use an active crossover for the bass cabs because the level and phase controls are useful.
We listened to this system all day with a variety of music and it was really nice.

I just ran the RTA/Mic on this and had some surprises. I had the levels approximately correct. It measures flatter without the 1 khz notch filter. The B110s only perform down to about 150 hz in these cabs (I think. The room measurements become inaccurate down there. For now I'm running the LP crossover at 150 hz which seems to work). The VHF shows a very steep rolloff, dropping 15 dbs from 8K to 20K. This might be an artifact of the mic, which shows top end droop on everything it measures.
