Spent the morning visiting record stores... had received a "Patience, Moonbeam" (Great Grandpa) that was defective, swapped for a good one; also received "The Miller's Daughter" (The Drones) by mistake, swapped it for "Gala Mill".

Does anyone have a parts unit of a Sony str-6060f that would be willing to sale a bottom plate with the feet and a top plate? I bought a unit that was sold without either.. I have the wood case.

How to I ask for repair work to be done by a member ? What is a Forum sponsor ? I search YAMAHA in COMPLETED SALES FORUM & it did not find any when I know there were some there !!! Also do you ever offer FREE FOOD , or PARTS ????????? ;)

No, on the free food, and sometimes a member will offer a free part, but that is totally up to that forum member, via a conversation with them.

Got a Technics SL-1500C - was disappointed on first play but not because of the turntable which is so solid and precise, handles really nicely. When cables have to route behind PCs, powerboards, and monitors, noise is horrible. Have added balanced output to my homebrew phono and the noise is all but gone. When I switch in the good speakers, when I spend some money on a real phono stage, it's going to be incredible.

Hey Rich, I did get them OK.
Life gets in the way many times but I was able to put one together yesterday and swap it into my CR-440. Listened to it yesterday on my fav FM station and was still getting drop outs both left and right. Changed to one of other strong stations this morning and its been doing fine all day long. Not sure how to read that at this point.
