Hey! Do you know the technical specs of the Technics SE A100 VU meter light bulbs? In the manual it appears as XAMS19P. See attached photo:img_3177-2048x1537.jpg

Thanks! I just bought from Japan a SE A100 and SU A200. I'm sure you have a lot of history about these two devices. I heard about the CMOS chips on the pre amp and the bulletin service to prevent killing the chips. I would really love you to share this information, thanks!

Only FET devices are the 2SK389 differential pair on the voltage amp board… there’s no ICs other than an op amp M5238P on current drive board. Pretty well all the transistors are bipolar.

Oh ok thanks! in the case of the pre amp, it has the the infamous uPD6364CA chips.
Hello sir. I am in need of a volume control for my AU-717. I have read that you have a solution or spare parts for sale. Any help would be appreciated
Looking for info on speaker batting. Im rebuilding a pair of ESS amt 1b's, the white stuff i pulled out was nearly dust and had to go. I see a few different types and would like to keep it as close to factory spec. Or am I crazy? Should I just pick out one and be done with it??

I'm open to most new ideas and concepts that help in the improvement of music. When concepts are introduced in audio, like quantum physics, in a company's product by people without a science/engineering background, I look away and call them out. Worse are those who use the term snake oil make me cringe, tend to be narrow minded, whine about price, stuck in old theories, you know the type.
I have an A&M 5 amp meter, not exactly what you're looking for.

That more than fair. Ship to Dave Ward, 334 Lincoln Ave. Lutherville, MD 21093. I'll send payment tomorrow, just have to find the password... Really appreciate it, didn't want to buy another meter off the bay just to find out it's toast too. Enjoy the evening!

Looking for help on the Frazier V. I see in one of the threads you talk about the same issue. I have a bad tweeter that I have to pull. Can you help me with instructions on removing the grill so as not to destroy it? Sounds like it starts with some screws from the back. Any specific ones? There appear to be some inaccessible with normal screwdrivers. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi John, how are you doing? I have DIYed a JBL L300 with cabinet size same as stock, cabinet made of birch ply. I am using 2216 ND, 2420 and 2405 (Alnico) drivers. I am facing two challenges: 1) HF is too hot/ sharp 2) Bass is missing!! I am using Nelson Pass XO for MF, HF and S4700 type LF. Would you have any pointers for me to check? Thank you for reading and for your help. regards, Sam
