Hi Dave. Restoring a Sansui 5500. My original fuse lamps measure 23.1mm overall. Looking for warm white LED replacements. Do you have the correct lamps or know the proper replacement? I found an eBay kit but wanted your opinion before ordering. Thanks, Paul @ PHD Vintage Audio Services

Dahlquist DCM 9 pair, DCM 7 pair, DQ 10. All need to have surrounds replaced.

Thanks! I just bought from Japan a SE A100 and SU A200. I'm sure you have a lot of history about these two devices. I heard about the CMOS chips on the pre amp and the bulletin service to prevent killing the chips. I would really love you to share this information, thanks!

Only FET devices are the 2SK389 differential pair on the voltage amp board… there’s no ICs other than an op amp M5238P on current drive board. Pretty well all the transistors are bipolar.

Oh ok thanks! in the case of the pre amp, it has the the infamous uPD6364CA chips.

Looking for info on speaker batting. Im rebuilding a pair of ESS amt 1b's, the white stuff i pulled out was nearly dust and had to go. I see a few different types and would like to keep it as close to factory spec. Or am I crazy? Should I just pick out one and be done with it??

Hi Avionics from Australia wondering if you can help me with the old stk3156 problem my amp is mint or was until it failed bloody STK do you make discrete drop ins for my amp or know where i can source one ive tried every forum between here and Mars any help would be great mate

Which STK is it? I make a discrete power module that is compatible with many models?

Its STK3156 Yamaha R-2000 I haven't heard of anyone actually making them but if you do would be awesome

vintage lafayette la-125t stereo amp when powered up sounds good for 30 seconds then right channel starts hissing and as the amp warms the hiss gets louder.
