    I have a Magnavox from 1967, 2 horns are wide open, and I was wondering if the drivers can be replaced ... looking on YT there are videos that claim they have repaired these horns , but they give no details or part numbers of what they used ... anyone here ever dealt with them? Thanks

    Magnavox astro-sonic 2st690 from 64... R2R is a panasonic RS766US same machine magnavox used in their 67/ 68 model years, everything I plug into the aux is low maybe they had different input specs back in 64?

    I have a Maganvox Console that I connected a Reel 2 Reel to the aux input .... It plays fine but to get a decent room level sound it has to be cranked all the way up ... all other functions will blow you out of the room at full volume... I can't find the specs for the Aux input on the Magnavox...

    Does anyone have the actual specs for the above unit?...specifically I need to know what impedance speakers this used ... the A-19 tube model used 8 ohm, but nothing is listed for the solid state model... the service manual says use a 4 ohm load for bias testing ... does that mean 4 ohm speakers?

    Well, here is the finished version .... made the speaker cabinets out of some dense hickory so as not to reverberate on Bass notes , it sounds good . Looking at the speaker schematic posted, they must have been 16 ohm speakers to end up at a 8 ohm load ....So I ended up finding some old 16 ohm...
