Duckduckgo works now
For me, when A/K`s forum starts acting up and becomes unusable, I maintain a 24/7/365 open minimized DDG browser YT tab open and just start watching videos of all types for several hrs. after minimizing A/K`s 502, 503, etc. forbidden site`s page and occasionally go back and try refreshing the site, and if still corrupted & unusable, then back to YT, checking back every few hrs. or longer.lots of "you are forbidden to access this site" yesterday using Firefox and Chrome- I went to the gym instead
Yeah. If there's nothing to do outside — it's YouTube rabbit hole time! For me, when A/K`s forum starts acting up and becomes unusable, I maintain a 24/7/365 open minimized DDG browser YT tab open and just start watching videos of all types for several hrs. after minimizing A/K`s 502, 503, etc. forbidden site`s page and occasionally go back and try refreshing the site, and if still corrupted & unusable, then back to YT, checking back every few hrs. or longer.
FWIW, I very rarely manually log out & close out the browser of A/K`s forum, unless there is a mandated reason to reboot this laptop for a Win 10 previously, & now using 11 OS` update reboot requirement.
At this time of yr. with the outside temp currently 96` F, w/51% humility (sic), I`ve no incentive to go spend any length of time out in it unless absolutely necessary, as I`m a dyed in the wool 71 yr. old airconditioned puppy !Yeah. If there's nothing to do outside — it's YouTube rabbit hole time!

Curious if there was an easy fix for this issue of the Emojis?Hey everyone, one of our fellow members inquired with me about the Emojis, stating that he cannot access them. Are any of you (who use them) having problems inserting Emojis into your posts?
If you don't use them,. all well & good and we don't need this to turn into a "pro VS anti Emoji" discussion, just doing some fact gathering for our Friend James to see if it's only on his AK access or if the problem is more widespread.
Thank You in advance for any info you can provide here....![]()

Someone just mentioned the same issue.
Thank You, I sent him that particular response and he said he tried that and it did not work for him. Do you know if that's what fixed it for SuperJazzy?6 posts below the post you quoted
Someone else I did not even know had an Emoji problem saw your fix I posted and said it worked for him.6 posts below the post you quoted
This happens a lot for me. Hit the CacheBuster icon and then I can log in. It's pretty nuts...Now I can get to the page, but can’t sign in. Get an ooooppps message try later.
There's also the Firefox Dynasty browser, which is a pre-Catalina port of Firefox 145. Works quite well on my A1289 Mac Pro, running 10.9.5. Re: PShop, CS4 doesn't even work right under 10.13.6, so I'm kinda stuck using Mavericks.HEEEEEEEE'S BACK! Using Seamonkey browser. No problem getting to the Log In or posting, IF this posts.
Have a 2015 MB Pro, last one with all the connections before dongles became mandatory, running 10.13.6 So NOT new gear. If I upgrade all the PShop, InDesign, Adobe programs I PAID FOR go away and I have to get robbed every month with creative cloud.
Been dealing with that on my phone, and just got the Oops! error a few minutes ago on my computer. The fun behind-the-scenes activities have now completely killed AK's chat function. Entering the chat room and just sitting there for a few minutes causes the following error when trying to post in there or to go elsewhere in the AK forums.
Too Many RequestsThe user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time.
Exiting AK for a few minutes clears the error. This does not happen every time, however, it happens so often that the chat function is now effectively dead. If this error is not cleared, you might as well disable chat and remove it from the top of AK forum pages.
Here is a thread on the issue: AK Chatroom causing 429 - Too Many Request errors?
