I'm looking for a preamp to accompany Odyssey Stratos Monoblocks and Klipsch La Scala speakers. Which would you choose, between the Carver C-4000 and the Audiolab 8000C, if they were priced about the same? Or would you choose something else - what else & why? Solid State or Tube?
