Yeah, indeed, you were the first person I thought of, since you are always game to participate, and you have a veritable museum of delicious gear.

I figured this little thread would inspire us, pique our curiosity, and create a nice respite from cable arguments and this vs that nonsense.

Since I am showing moving videos ;)
Here is the 8802 and speakers just thrown up in what will become the listening loft. Needed music while we where finishing up the tiny house. First one needs no introduction. Second is a Navy buddy who has been making a living making music since he got out in 1990. Owns a decent local studio and is in a few bands, this band is Beaten back to Pure, this is just a short vid I txted him one night while moving in.

Video is very dark but Inagadadavida by Iron Butterfly brings back memories of the awesome one hit wonder band when I was in high school.

My sound system sucks, but I have a killer listening room.

Sir that is far from crap, I was doing this earlier today and loving every minute of it .

Sorry man, headed out of town on vacation in a few days and just have too much on my plate right now. I’ll get a little video together when I get back, but all I have for a main rig at this time is the system in the living room (PS Audio Stellar Gain Cell pre/DAC, White Oak Phase Linear 700B and JBL Studio 590’s with a few 12” sealed subs)..the dedicated listening space is out of commission until the end of summer.

Can you believe all of that fits in the back of my truck?

The frame breaks down quickly with eye bolt tensioners, and it all just slips together.

THIS MAN knows how to get his relax on, even while selling those nice tie-dyes. Hats off.

Anytime you like, man, no rush, and hope you have a wonderful vacation!! Yeah, with that paltry system, you're roughing it. :rflmao::rflmao:LOL!!

Ok, I’ll play. But please promise not to laugh, and know that the rest of the house is clean and tidy.

I’ve got so much crap, that I’ve started hanging it from the ceiling...

Camera tilted and dizzy tour:

One more:
That is pretty amazing, it feels very familiar and welcoming, and really reminds me of my friend Miles. In the early 90's he owned an antique/record store. the front was hifi gear and antiques very and there was a room in the back with records. His aesthetic was very similar to yours, and he was quite possibly the most interesting person I've ever met. He was a punk kid from New York who played guitar in a band (I can't remember the name right now, but they were known in the mid 70's NY scene), then he became disenfranchised with that life and somehow became a devout Muslim and antique dealer. Hell he even ended up in an arranged marriage, which seemed really weird to me, but they actually seemed really happy. He knew more about music than just about any person I've ever met and, I would spend hours in there talking about music , politics, religion, and learning about all sorts of interesting tchotchke's.

I want to know Miles! Sounds like a cool cat.

In all reality, with divorce hovering around what...55%??

Maybe an arranged marriage fares better statistically?? Besides, being "in love" has the same emotional triggers as a psychotic episode. Once that wears off....phew.

Anyway, back to the vids, everyone. I've been really enjoying them.
