1060 Caps question

Hello Marantz guys !

Here is a question. Why there is 3 big caps after the transformer, becuse usually they go by pair :scratch2: :

Most power amplifiers are DC coupled and have a symmetrical power supply = two supply voltages=two capacitors, one for each voltage. Because of the dc coupling, this design has a speaker protection relay to prevent hazardous dc voltages killing the speakers.
The 1060 is a capacitor coupled design. The two smaller caps connect left and right amp to their speakers. A capacitor is a good DC filter, only ac=music can reach the speakers - no protective relay is needed. The 1060 capacitor coupled design needs only one supply voltage, that's why there is only one big power supply cap.
