2015 trying to bring it back, some help please.

it will be something simple .. its just a matter of finding it .. screen is 32 inch ..big enough for the space i have here .
 
Well, tried on the tuner, give it one more day and see if anyone else has some input and then I guess I'll send it to my Marantz guy to see if he can find it. Last pictures before I ship it.

Thanks to all who helped Rich BTW it does sound pretty darn good recapped, cleared up the unbalanced volume problem.
 
one thing that is puzzling me is what the letters in circles correspond to in the tuner schematic .. like d e and f ..and maybe more i missed . i know it should mean they end up someplace else but cant find those points as yet.
ok i guess they are adjustment points ..
 
you could sort of bluff your way through it to some extent by reading the manual starting at the bottom of page 2 .. of course do not adjust anything unless you have the proper equipment .
 
Have you tested the voltages at all the pins in that IC, H114? The schematic has a voltage for each pin. It would be interesting to know if there are any dead ends in that IC.
 
Still waiting to find out if my guy can fix the tuner, he was afraid the cans were rusted by the look of the unit, so I am hoping he can fix it. Just some comments about the 2015. I was very impressed with both the build quality and the sound of this little guy. There is almost no plastic in the unit, the lamp housing is even metal. I had a 2265B open at the same time, and what a difference in the build quality. The 2265B has a great deal of plastic and suffers from it. After years of hot lamps, the lamp housing is so brittle it pretty much falls apart just looking at it. Sound wise, I feel the 2015 must be a little under rated as it has quite a punch for a 'baby Marantz'. I really liked the 2015 and hope it can be saved, if not, the power amp/power supply have been rebuilt, so I can use it with a tuner and still get some satisfaction from it. Thanks for all the help and advise, I'll let you know if it makes it to 100%. Rich
 
Update.... Turned out the culprits we H105 and H106, my tech replaced those and aligned the tuner and replaced the stereo light and now a fully functional 2015 from a pile of rust!
