I want the 3rd gen Civic shown Heather shows us in red. Long in the tooth? Nah, just broken in.$44k and its not even an SI? sounds very Meh.
We are still rocking the electron-blue 2000 Civic SI I bought in the spring of 2000. "L'il Blue" got stolen from work in 2006, recovered, and rebuild per the insurance company, and when returned, I gave her to my wife to drive since I wasn't driving her back to where she'd been stolen previously so she'd get stripped again!
We just had the clutch, etc replaced (and a failing 5sp trans as well) and she's still excited when she takes it for a drive. Once we get those fees paid, we'll take it to a local detailer and have it freshened up for its birthday in the spring!
Technically, at 25 years old, L'il Blue's an Antique in Virginia, tho its her daily driver so we've got regular plate on her.
(When I first met Emma she was driving an Oldsmobile Delta 98 Regency - that was "Big Blue," long gone now, so the SI became "L'il Blue").

And L'il Blue replaced my earlier Civic SI - bought new in 1990, which was getting a bit long in the tooth in the early 2000s.

Sadly, the 1990 Red Civic SI was showing the rusty seams issue in the early 2000s.I want the 3rd gen Civic shown Heather shows us in red. Long in the tooth? Nah, just broken in.
Honda swings, and whiffs yet again. Still not over how they botched the CRX rebadge.
Man, did I EVER want the blue '85 CRX that my roommate had. Beauty.I want the 3rd gen Civic shown Heather shows us in red. Long in the tooth? Nah, just broken in.

Even if you aren't 6'4", getting in and out of these things becomes more of a challenge as you get older. Some of you must be pretty spry. I'm 6'4" tho and of an age where I don't like getting in and out of low coupes. I like a taller, fast and good handling ride.
To get a manual transmission you will need to step up to the Acura Integra.I want to test drive one. To see how it drives in the real world.
The no-manual option is what kinda bums me out.
They want to force the new stuff on you, knowing a manual will outlast them allI want to test drive one. To see how it drives in the real world.

I test-drove an Acura Integra with a manual transmission two years ago. It's a turbo, and has a bad turbo lag. No thanks. They don't even give you a spare tire with that car.To get a manual transmission you will need to step up to the Acura Integra.
There are several "car guys" at work (in their 20s to 40s) who don't know how to drive a stick shift. Times they are a'changing! And now dealerships only get a manual in every month or two.
