2a3 Bottlehead Stereomour II + klipschorn

Hello all,

Is there anybody here who try the combo single ended 2a3 (3.5wpc) Bottlehead Stereomour II kit with klipschorn?

On paper it should be a perfect match but I’d like to hear any experience.

I have not, but I loved the 2A3 Paramours with Hornshoppe's "The Horn", a Fostex rear-loaded folded horn speaker. Biggest mistake I ever made was selling those amps.

You will not have a problem.

The OP is using way too much power in that amp.

3.5wpc into a pair of Khorns should be capable of approximately 109dB peak, at 10ft / 3m listening distance.

If that's not loud enough then you need a more powerful amp.

No. However, my shop is 15' x 15'. If you're trying to fill a 30' x 30' room, it may not be enough.
It does depend of your music preference and how loud you like it.....

I still have my 2A3 Paramours that are driving a pair of Hornshoppe horns. Will not ever be selling them!

My room is about 15’x30’ so it should be fine.

Yes but it still depends on habits and expectations..."enough" is not quantifiable.

Both khorns and 2a3 amps hold value well. Get them together and try it... If it doesn't sound right it will be relatively easy to recoup your money.

What a great match!!!
Smooth precise deep sound.
Volume is not an issue whatsoever.
