I load what I want to heard as I have 4-5 of them. No discs live in the cartridges.

I have 9 six disc magazines and 2 single disc ones, I like to collect one of every brand name that used the same magazine, I am the same as Blue Shadow I just load what I want to hear and they don't stay in them for a prolonged time.
By the way what other brands used this magazine, I already have Pioneer, Onkyo, Mitsubishi, Curtis Mathes, and Optimus.

Thanks for the reply Blue Shadow and White_Wolf. I only have a few Pioneer brand cartridges. I wish I could figure out how to catalog or index my cd's so it would be easier to play desired tracks.
I've considered burning copies of my cd's and loading the copies in the magazines but it is the indexing that seems to be a hassle.

Discogs to make a list of what you own and then each listing (album) had the tracks listed. Easy enough to look at that knowing what you have in Cart 1 and selecting the songs to play based on looking at the song listing on that website.
I've got PIONEER, Realistic, and KENWOOD. Best Buys used to sell them about 10 years ago, which is how long since I've been in one....
