Adcom Gta 6000

I am looking at purchasing an ADCOM GTA 6000. What is the consensus on the sound quality and approximately what would be a fair price through a private party (Craig's List)?

Do you mean GFA-6000 or GDA-600?? There is no GTA that I'm aware of.

If you mean GFA-6000, it's a very fine 5-channel amp, solidly built, durable, and sounds great. I have one that I used in an HT system for a while. Questions of valuation will get this moved to the Dollars and Sense section, but I'd say that something in the range of $300 to $325 is fair.

I work out with one a couple of days a week!

MY GFA6000 powers two infinity bookshelf speakers and two polk audio speakers in back of me. It is mated to the 600 Tuner/preamp with a nice remote to crank things up during the "hard work". One of these days I will get a sub woofer and that should drive my wife and kid nuts. I'll just say it is for my health. Anything under a $300 bucks would be hard to beat.:thmbsp:
