Adding a choke?

I'm looking for mods to do to my Technics SU-7700, and I was wondering if it was plausible or worth adding a choke and some bigger caps. Is it?

Bigger caps may improve the pulse power capability. But do really need that? Is the unit working perfect? Than leave it like it is.

A cap follow by a choke then another cap is the best passive filter you can put on the power supply. Choke is another hunk of iron with cost and space implication that few gears can afford. So, sure put it in if you want to improve your power supply.

Hot-rodding older gear can be fun, like I did with the Marantz SR8100DC. But those mods were done by the Electical Engineer who designed the unit in the first place. However, I readily acknowledge that audio is driven by innovation, much of it by folks who are tinkerers at heart. So, if it's a unit that isn't particularly valuable, but might be fun to play with, HAVE FUN!!!
