Compared to Large Advents ...?
did they have ''the old sound''?(klh 6- Large Advents- ar3a)

I have heard a fellow AK'ers pair, handsome looking little 8" woof towers. Bass is tight and deeper than you would think. The dome tweet used many would argue is "better/smoother" than the old fried-egg tweet on the LA's (although I like the eggs" Bass wont go down as deep as the LA, but IMHO, I think you will be able to tell that the "Heritage" is there. A very competant little tower IMHO.

if you can find them buy them! They actually sound very good. And will go much lower then you think they would....with out being boomy! I have a pair so i should know

Those are sweet sounding speakers!
They were my first really good pair of speakers.
I really, really miss them.

Bass IS deeper than one would expect (original surrounds were the wider, thinner type).

3/4" poly dome tweeter was sweet!

I've owned both and my NLA's are still here. As good as the Prodigy Towers are, they were the ones to leave.
