Advent Prodigy Towers: How would you rate these?

How good are the Advent Prodigy Towers compared to other Advents. Are they worth considering at all?

I have two pairs and they are decent and I like them, but they are not my main speakers. I haven't heard any of the older advents. If you can get them for cheap it wouldn't be a bad deal.

I have a pair in my office and also like them. IMO they don't go quite as low as the older advents, but the newer tweeter is sweeter:thmbsp:

All in all a pretty good sounding speaker!

One more vote for the Prodigy Towers here. I own a pair - they were my main speakers after my divorce, so they'll always hold a place in my heart. Actually a very pleasant, accurate, uncolored sound; great imaging with those dome tweeters, and they have a nice small footprint if you have a small listening room/area. I have a few pairs of the larger Legacys as well, but at normal listening levels, I think the Prodigys have a more pleasant, better-balanced sound. The Legacys seem to sound a bit muddier and more hollow until you crank 'em up...
