again 2sk170 transistor replacement question

Hello, Do you know a part, available from mouser, to replace the 2SK170-BL to-92 low noise JFET ?

Al the transistors suggested in other forums seem to be not available or obsolete at mouser.

Thanks!

I was looking at low noise replacements from mouser, since I have the chance of buying a small order there, that somebody will carry down to Buenos Aires. As I posted many times, the international mail is not an option down here. Last thing I bought was a pair of tweeters in February 2016, I'm still waiting...

You need to use EXPRESS mail - DHL Express, Fedex, UPS or alike. It will not be cheap, but they are usually reliable. Mouser and other vendors use express mail if you request it. I also once ordered directly from Linear Systems, though it required a few phone calls to them.

Here is another vendor I used and they do have LS components: https://www.trendsetter.com

Original parts are "GR", 2.6 - 6.5 mA

I usually replace them with SK117, "GR" too, from untrusted sources

I know that , but that is usually economically non-viable. I mean, perhaps $100 shipping for a $20 item. Plus, $25 down here to receive the item ("customs agent fee")

Actually, DHL wanted to charge me $25 to gave me a free sample that a factory sent me for free. I refused to pay for a free sample, and the post man went away with my pack. One or 2 weeks later another post man came back with the item for free.

Look at the IFN147 at Mouser. Its basically the InterFet version of the Toshiba 2SK147/2SK369. Its similar to the 2SK170, except for being larger with higher trans conductance.

That J113 looks good too for a GR variant.

I've seen the J111 and J112, but since the datasheet says
"This device is designed for low level analog switching,
sample and hold circuits and chopper stabilized amplifiers.
• Sourced from process 51
• Source & Drain are interchangeable."

And I didn't know exactly what that means, I didn't get them, and decided to ask here...

I think I'll get some J113 and some IFN147 to have at hand and try them...

Ebay seller Alweit located in Israel sells matched pairs of authentic Toshiba 2SK170's for a very good price. I've bought from him multiple times over the past few years and I've tested them and the pinch-off voltage and transconductance (an easy way to identify fakes) on them measures right where it should. His prices have gone up a good bit but over time but they're still a bargain if you want the original part.
