Okay talking as a complete newbie if I were to wire these speakers to hook up to the computer would I need an amp in there or not?

Will they run off of this? (I'm broke not cheap...)

The woofers are playing in different cabs here right now, and I can attest they are worthy.... :yes:Guess I need to get back out there and finish those, huh?
Indignia center (and Mindignia, presumably) tweets on sale in the current PE flyer for $15.

Something Zilch pointed out to me in a PM...it would be pretty easy to adapt this to a surround speaker using the woofer and tweeter from the center channel. Cut the box in half and use the PE .25ft^3 box, use only 1 port, double inductor L2 (1mH), and halve capacitor C2 (6uF), and you should be there. The only part remaining would be to pad down the tweeter to account for only 1 woofer. It should be a 3dB (2ohm series, 15ohm parallel will get you close) pad unless my brain isn't in gear (wouldn't bet against that one).
Have people quit building Indignias?:scratch2: I'm looking into this as my next project so I might have to keep this thread going. Sure be nice to have some company:yes:
