I think those are the 2/3 Altec Bolero (890C). Same horn and 406 woofer, but no ABR, if I'm not mistaken.

If they are what I think, they should be a very good speaker indeed. I think the 406 was one of the best 10-inch drivers ever made.

They'd probably be mine by now if they were local. I hear that's a fantastic woofer.

I bought them. They were really cheap. He didn't know what they were. They were "upgrading" to what looked to be Theater Research type speakers and he wanted to get rid of them.
They have the plastic horns.

Enjoy the Maderas.I have 890c Boleros and I know those woofs can really pump it out.
