Amplifier Necesu?

Hey all! Just curious, I have a McIntosh MAC 1900. Do I need an amplifier with this?

MAC1900 is a very nice vintage McIntosh receiver (tuner + amplifier), 55 watts per channel into 8Ω. Plug and play with speakers.

Anyway, that’s what I thought. I see a lot of people ranting about amplifiers, just not sure when you use one.

You can correct the title by going to the upper right side of the page where it says "Thread Tools". Click on that link and then click on "Edit Title"and you can correct the spelling there.
It's ok though, as "necesu" translated means "needed". I thought you did that on purpose.

The only thing that pops up is Add Poll

When I place my cursor over the "Thread Tools" arrow, a drop down menu appears with "Edit Title", "Add Poll" and "Delete Thread" showing. I'm not sure why you aren't seeing this, unless the browser or computer itself is causing it. I'm using Google Chrome on a HP desktop computer, but I really haven't had a problem with "Thread Tools" on any browser I've tried while using a desktop computer.
