Great amps, however at those prices he may end up being buried with 'em.

I have a pair of Macro-Tech 2402's these drive JBL's in my business DJ rig.
Nothing else comes close. Some folks like the PLX QSC's as they are lightweight, however they do not have the woofer control of the old-school Crowns.
