Audire Audio Components

The late designer Julius Siksnius also involved with the Apollo program. It's not a very well known highend audiobrand in the US and almost unknown in Europe. The Otez and its Class A variant the Parlando are most potent amps from Audire. I had the smaller Forte which did have a dual mono construction with two on/off powerswitches. It was heavy for its modest size and powerfull.

These were at a local estate sale which i tend to avoid but i think it was all under the radar and i made an offer.
Yes both amps-Otiz and Forte as well as the Diffet2 pre-amp function well.
below are a couple shots i snagged upon research.

That's a great way to pick up some fine gear at good prices. I've been able to do that a few times.
Some interesting Audire history in this thread, as you may have seen.

There are a lot of not so well known US based manufacturers of highend audio components.
It's hard to get the right attention and coverage. Levinson, Audio Research, Krell, Jeff Rowland, Conrad Johnson and Threshold did pretty well for the amplifier market. These brands are/were established and a dealership of once or maybe two of those ruled out any other competition. Another thing is service. Jeff Rowland and Nelson Pass (Threshold before 1991 now Pass Labs) are very friendly and approachable for their customers and that helps a lot in my opinion to get the thumbs up from the customer.

What a humongous transformer! Those blue Mallory's CGS series are very good I've gathered from Nelson Pass. I have them in my Threshold amps and they're still measuring okay.

Keepin mind that the Otez pulls a LOT of current on startup . The store I worked at installed a separate 20 Amp circuit for the OTEZ and Parlondo .

Yes. My brother had 2, 20A circuits installed for his audio gear, including the Otez.

Some literature
