Bang & Olufsen cartridge MMC 5?

I recently bought a minty Dual CS 5000 turntable (my second one!). The alternate headshell has a Bang & Olufsen cartridge mounted on it - MMC 5. Can anyone speak to the quality of B&O cartridges and this model specifically?

B&O carts were of the highest quality (Ortofon made them for B&O, IIRC). The MMC5 cart was the entry level cart in their last series.

not a bad cart. i have one, and an MMC3, for my linear tracking B&O. they both sound fine. i wouldnt go out of my way to get one for a TT that takes a standard cart though. you might consider selling that one, along with the adapter, and getting a standard cart. tons of choices.
