Should help with air circulation. Maybe I'll get some extra "note bloom, articulation, clarity, punch"? :-P

Why are you treating that Onkyo like an unwanted stepchild.:D

You gave your other gear new shoes. What's up with that?:scratch2:

Did not see a need to space it. Might get another set though

I had similar thoughts the first time I saw those in the Rockler catalog :-)

I just collect old hockey pucks whenever I find 'em - they are great 'feet' for hifi use, and they're plentiful around the Boston area for some unfathomable reason ;-)

I see another use for hockey pucks!! Currently I use hockey pucks to space the rubber stops behind my spare tire on one of my jeeps. Also to dampen vibration on a few bench grinders. Hockey pucks are so handy for so many things. :thmbsp:

I was looking at them on Home Depot's site. They have three different models(?) at three different prices. They appear to be the same. Does anyone know the difference?

Home depot also shows plastic cones (spikes?) that fit them. Has anyone tried them as an addition to the "cookies"

I just bought some hockey pucks as spacers - took me awhile to find a place that had cheap pucks where shipping didn't kill the deal. Ordered from Lee Valley and turned out to be less than $19 for 12 pucks. Black too, if you want something more stealthy. :)

How about these for 29 cents each? A box of 48 is less than $13. They also sell these on audio sites for $24 for a set of 4. These are the exact same thing.

Shipping is pretty high, but the per unit is very low. Total cost per unit with shipping will really vary based on qty. $0.75/each for 48, $1.44/each for 12, $2.90/each if you only needed 4.

I wonder how these compare to hockey pucks in terms of vibration isolation?

I just bought mine (hockey pucks) for physical spacers. And hey, if I ever get into hocky. . . :)
