Best 50$ bucks ever spend in Audio

I hit a Yard sale a while ago and picked up a Yamaha T-2, C-2a and M-4 for $200. I sold the M-4 right away for $150 leaving me with $50 sunk into the T-2 and C-2a.

Picked up a Fisher RS-2015 receiver for $40 at a yard sell.
Yamaha CR-820 receiver "mint" condition at thrift. $40
Marantz 2220b wood cab looks and works $20
My best has to be a almost mint 7ft. walnut MCM Barzilay entertainment console with a mint McIntosh 1700 receiver and a Dual 1019 turntable. Speakers were gone. Both components had the original user manuals. $20

Best five bucks I ever spent was on my Sansui 2000X. Near perfect working order, looks nearly new. It's been rocking for me almost 4 years now. Have only replaced the noisy transistors.

Best $37.50. Mint condition Denon DBT1713UD Universal Player. The only thing missing is 4K, and I don't have a 4K tv.

I didn't get the stands, but I did find a lone Kef 103.2 at Value Village for $10. Went back 4 days later and found the consecutive number partner for $25. The crossovers need to be redone, so they are sitting in my projects pile.

Great score! What color are yours? I have an order from Erse Audio coming for full recap of both SP1144 crossovers. Will post in another thread with pics, results etc. Mine are missing tags with serials on back of speaker. Would be curious if your speaker serial # matches the serial # on the crossovers and which crossovers you have.

Did you have any leaking capacitor damage to yours? Both of mine are suffering from it, with one still not working after my second time inside. The next time I go in there, I am going to compare the working one with the non working one as I go. Then I will test it out before closing things up. Its amazing how much damage those caps did to the circuit board traces. I rebuilt the worst one, but I suspect I missed something in the process. I never thought to look at the serial number on the circuit board. I'll do that next time I'm at it. I have a few other things to move out before I can get to the Kefs.

I've only cracked one open so far and I think my SP1144 crossovers are pretty early compared to the later SP2011. Mine do not have a single leaky cap and only has one 47uF in the protection circuit. My board is huge compared to SP2011's I've seen here. I have 4-150uF caps instead of the 2-300uF caps. I believe its the radial protection caps that leak from what I've read. My traces are all perfect. I'll post pics later and will PM.

In my case, it would have to be a single Mac MC 60 tube power amp, that I`m still using(HT Mac. center ch. spkr)after a re/build/work, that one of my late nineties regular guitar amp customer`s friend`s father(original owner) was looking to sell.
Best audio based $ 50.00 that I`ve spent, that I can recall.

Here`s a pic of were it resides in my A/V rack.DSCN0113.JPG
