Back in the early days (around '85) when I was about 17, I bought a pair of Studio Monitor Acoustic Reference speakers out of a white van at a gas station. The guys were sound experts and didn't feel like driving the speakers back to work, so they were nice enough to sell them to me. I was never the same again.

They certainly outdid themselves with the claims on the packaging. The words seem to be spelled correctly, an oddity with white van products. Of course, the packaging probably cost as much to produce as what's inside.

Who makes this garbage? Is it the factory where the famous Coby line comes from or all the old US makes like RCA, Magnavox?
