I am looking to rebuild my Boston Acoustics A100 speakers, what I need is new tweeter's. Any recomendations or help as where to look would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Elkhunter, you should become a subscriber and hit bartertown (a forum you can't get to now). Any soliciting should be done there or else the Mods will give you a lashing!

Felicitations on your solicitations. I'd check that ebay place. Also check Canuck Audio Mart and/or US Audio Mart. I've got the tweeters but they're attached to the box, along with the woofers.

The tweeters are part of the overall sound so you might want to stick with stock. That said they are almost to smooth for me and could use more bite and clarity so maybe there is a replacement that is an upgrade.

Agreed. The version of the A200 with the SEAS tweeters is the version I like. Boston should have put that tweeter in all their big speakers.

A100 came in a few flavors and some are more worthy of time, effort and dollars. Tell us more about what you have. Serials numbers, dates, round or rectangular metal plate on the tweeter. Pictures are nice.

I just bought a pair of the a100's and i have a tweeter thats blown. They are the rectangular ones.

There were also 2 sizes of rectangular. Be sure to check.

If you have the round tweeters this is probably the closet match out there for the 1st series.

I have the rectangular tweets...im in the middle of the new hampshire mountains camping right now. I will post pics and serial numbers on sunday. Maybe that will provide better info on what i need
