Yeah, lol, or the fuel filter would clog from algae contamination in the fuel tank.

I work for a paving and site development company. We have excavators that could easily pickup the machine he is climbing the tower with. The only skill involved here is as other have said in the engineering. The plate on the end of his boom actually locks in place with retractable pins to hold it in place. The rest of it is only about the same "guts" as somebody has the first time they step off a bridge bungee jumping. Of course the bungee jumper doesn't have computer generated design and manufacturing to take the risk out of the event.

NOW you want to see something you come by and watch one of our guys in an excavator walk it down a near vertical slope some 200 ft down to a work sight 500 ft above a reservoir so he can work there supporting a boring crew drilling holes in the side of a mountain to help stop a landslide. At any minute the whole mess could end up in the bottom of the reservoir.

Our guys work with 1/2" precision digging trenches 20 ft deep. Using only hand signals from one of the other guys to go by.

Sure this was an interesting advertizing stunt but not much of an exibition of skill or courage.

My Great Grandfather worked day in and day out in the coal mines of PA back in the 1800's. In my book, That took guts.
