C2200 and Sub hook-up

Has anybody tried to hook up a subwoofer to a C2200? Either SE or XLR?
If so, what outputs??

I used the XLR connection to my 275, and the RCA output to the sub.

Works great.

I have my sub connected via the XLR speaker 1 connections
Main speakers are into the XLR mains

My McIntosh Sub has both channel inputs, so I picked both

I deduct from your question that your sub has only 1 channel.
Me, I would not sub them: pick either one: the low frequencies are 99% identical
on both channels.
