CR-2040 and NS-1000Ms

Hi all, in appreciation of the information on this forum which has helped me replace some globes and adjust voltages on the 2040, I thought I had better post some pics. This gear was purchased in Singapore in 1980 and still serves me well in Oz.

My CR-2040 has a much lighter coloured veneer than most I have seen.

I've got an A-1 that I'm using as a preamp until I get my C-4 Avionic'd.

Mine's black though. Phono section is really, really nice ... Built like a tank; I'd guess around 40 lbs. You can see interior pics here

It was a total wreck before Dave worked it over.

VERY COOL photo composition (angle, lighting, etc.), complements Bellini's work well :thmbsp: Question, What is the differenec between a TC-800 and your TC-800D? I am guessing it does not mean that it has a digital input.

What you have there is the European CR-2040 version........

I have a CR-2020 and the wood trim looks the same.

The first TC-800 sported a High Filter and a Microphone switch ; the TC-800GL replaced these with a Dolby IC and a Mic/Line mixing function, received a Limiter switch and could operate with a DC 12V power source or with nine 3V batteries as well. A third version, TC800D, was an updated 800, with an added DIN connector, auto CrO2 tape compatibility and Dolby IC ; it eventually replaced both original versions."

M2 and PM2602M

I'm kind of late to the party, is the keg floating yet?:D

Here's a crappy pic of my two Yamaha amps. 1000 watts total power, makes my XPL-200A's (bi-amped) stand up and behave very well.:rockon:

Obviously, I need some backlight bulbs in the 2602M.:o

Very, very nice jhal. Both amps are on my wish list. Let me know if you ever upgrade and I'll be right over to pick 'em up! :thmbsp:
