Calling All Yamahas. Time to Post Your Pics

Main system, Yamaha MX-2, CX-2, and NS-1000m's supplied by a 160gig Olive Symphony with a 500gig external HD attached. The Olive outs to an MF V-DAC.

Toys in the office:
K-1000 Tape Deck
CR-1020
CR-2040
NS-690ll's
Original '74 Tele Deluxe

I have a K-1000 deck in black, I wasn't aware they came in silver. Have you had any issues with that deck?

By the way, does anybody know where I can get my hands on the meter bulbs for the P2200? Or a dealer that sells them? Or a workable substitute? I know I've read it here before somewhere...

I've re-lamped my PC2002M and PC4002M using cheap bulbs from partsexpress.com. They were 1/10 the cost of yamaha replacements.

I haven't seen you on AK for ages. It's good to see you back! When I was looking into getting my first Yamaha pro amp I found your posts on audioheritage. You were right, they're great amps.

It ran flawlessly all these years and last month has a channel that won't work, and the bulbs across the tuner dial quit too.:thumbsdn: I even have the original box and owners manual.

I didn't know they came in black..
I just pulled it out of mothballs from the garage and decided to play around with digitizing some of the old cassettes I'd made with it.
It seems to be playing pretty nice so far.
In its day this was a pretty piece of gear. The DBX encoder has a huge dynamic range and runs totally silent.

Almost ready...

I found an EQ-630 for sale this week did not hesitate for a second, got on my Yamaha bike and bought it! Installed the equalizer this morning...wow!! The only thing I really really want is a TT from Yamaha..

My current set-up is: MX-1000/CX-1000/TX-1000/CDX-1110/EQ-630/NS-1000

Nice B-2 stack eltigro. I should do mine that way, giving me a couple of extra shelves. The C-2x is hefty, but I'm running a T-1 so that shouldn't be too bad.

What are the chances someone has a scan of the P-2200 service manual? Pretty Slim?
Anyhow, right channel is fine, running cold, left channel is definitely more than warm.

I've had a lot of nice receivers and have let all of them go. The 2040 is the only one I really hope to get back one day.

Looks like you need about 7 ea. 8v@250ma light bulbs...:D Either that or pop the top cover and plug in the light connector for channel "B"

Yeah, I'll peek in when I check the bias and stuff. Should be easier to fix than the out lights in the CT-800...

And looking at the p2200 parts list, *damn* they don't list the meter bulbs.

8V@250mA you say? Thanks!
