RIP Stan. I read so many Marvel comics back in the 70's and 80's. Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer were always my favorites.

It's hard to underestimate the impact he had on the world of comics and movies.

You are correct, read a post on this but it was three weeks ago someone had started a rumour on Facebook and also Siri was telling people Stan Lee was dead in May.
He will be missed

His creations pretty much defined the superhero movies. I'll miss his cameos in those movies. I'd say he was a movie star in his own right simply for those.

Amen. I loved his cameo in Captain America: Civil War. Where he played a FedEx driver and asked Stark if he was Tony Stank. The whole theater erupted in laughter when he said it.

I been watching all the film clips over the past 24 hours. It seems like he was a genuinely nice guy, but of course you can never really tell for sure. One thing, though, seems 100% certain: The guy was having one helluva good time in his later years.
