Nope . . . BUT . . . the poorly listed auction ended at 4 PM EST, and I'm now the proud owner of a "VINTAGE TALISMAN STEREO BY THOMASVILLE" which upon scrolling down in the pictures, has a Scott 99C (or D - not sure), LAFAYETTE STEREO TUNER MODEL LT99, and a Garrard RC88 (I think) . . . SPEAKER UNKNOWN at this point (how exciting .. .

all for the princely sum of $14.59

it helps that Scott was left out of the Auction title, and that it was listed under Vintage Audio - Other . ..

now I just gotta drive to eastern NY to pick it up :thmbsp:

I can't believe your luck on this find. I didn't realize there was a pix of the SCOTT Amp in the add. Oooh, did you notice the two "H's" designed into the front of the Console. Veeery cool. Ooh, I have that same Turntable. It came with my PILOT (mono) Console. BTW, answer your phone! I KNOW your home lol.

She sounds ok. The dynaural circuit was designed for use with the old 78 records. Kinda like an old fashioned hi-filter or dolby circuit. I use a 12in zenith tube amplifier speaker and magnavox horn tweeter in one cabinet but not wanting to hi-jack this thread, I'm more interested in hearing (of course I never will) how that Scott 99D sounds that Markus just picked up. I know I'm not supposed to be envious of another human being, but MAN OH MAN Markus, you lucky %&*@#*b*#tch. :thmbsp:
