I remember reading your posts about these speakers and it sounds like they are truly amazing speakers,I bet they sound fabulous!
There is no replacement for displacement.
Might get a pair of Diapason 2

Maybe not high-end but definitely a classic in my book:
I own 3 pieces of what I consider "Classic Gear": A Pioneer PL-71 TT, an early DD, Technics SL-10 a very nice TT, B&W 801S3 and I'm not so sure it a classic but I have California Audio Lab's Alpha tubed DAC.

watched it. loved it. Lux and B&W here, M-117, 803 Matrix, TP-117 ... I worked in a store that sold Luxman with Infinity late 70s ... Lux and EMIT tweeters go together very nicely because the amps and preamps don't make electrostatics sound like Piezos (unfortunately a lot of amps do just that ... sss ... ss ssss ... hisss ... ). When I was shopping Lux amps yours is the one I'd have probably wanted the most. but what I have is makin' me happy so carry on.

A fun romp through audio history! But, Without a clear filter for "high end" and then what it means to be "classic" high end, the list looks more like a list of "TOTL & Expensive & CoolLooking" gear.
One way to get at high end is to have "some consensus by leaders in the field" - specifically, I'm referring to reviewers with credibility. I say that because the origins of high end as a thing came about with the popularity of respected review magazines.
There's no doubt certain products were revered by a cross section of reviewers. i.e the ARC SP3a, the ML-2, the Servo-Statik, the JC-2., the Typani III-D, Rogers LS3/5a, Threshold 800a, and so on.
In the post Internet era, those reviewers lost followers and authority as opinions simply democratized across millions of ad hoc opinions on forums, and chat boards. So, the high end concept got watered down and broadened into all sorts of chaos. Sometimes just the price tag needed to be high enough to make something high end. Some of that stuff doesn't sound good at all, but if you spend $100,000 on a speaker it simply must be high end!
Just look at the number of receivers mentioned. Receivers? Also, certain brands have "automatic cache" but maybe only 5% of their models are ever high end: Marantz and McIntosh come to mind. High quality--yes. High end--not so much.
Just one perspective of someone who was there.

Sorry for the repeated pictures but I'd add the following. I love the vintage silver face audio gear that hails from the 1970's War Of The Receiver Watts!. I have these 8 pieces in my collection and love it. Hope you can appreciate it too.
