Is it this?

  Similar: posh swish stylish
• Exhibiting refinement and high character. Opposite of low-class.

It would appear so to me, probably near the beginning of his film career. One of my favorite actors. And wow - did he have a great voice and "screen presence."

Yes Sir, I whole heartily concur DesertRatt. Been one of my favorite male movie actors of all time.
I have quite a few of BR/DVDs that he resides in, all quite good to excellent, IMO.
