College Football 2026

This is what college football is supposed to be about.


Not recruiting a bunch of 25-26 year old NFL rejects who signed professional contracts invalidating their status as amateur atheletes and are only going to be at your school for one year leaving with 0.0 GPAs.
 
Three day weekend of college games starting Thursday.

Still have a lot of powder puff matchups, but there are some interesting games.

Watch the Service Academy games - all have lines less than 5.

#11 Oklahoma at Michigan could be interesting

Iowa St at Iowa is always a slobber-knocker of a game

#1 Ohio St at #4 Texas - a test for both teams. The line is Texas -1.5

I don't know about this year though. You have to remember that Matt Campbell left Iowa State to become the head coach at Penn State, bringing two dozen former Cyclones players with him to Happy Valley.

The line is Iowa -14. I'm not saying it'll be as close as that - but those two teams don't like each other.

There will be some hard hitting action and it'll get chippy.

Don't sleep on ODU at Virginia Tech....always a tough game
Army over USF
Navy over Florida Atlantic
Air Force will have a tough time with NDS
USC is playing my "down the street" team Louisiana. I can get to the stadium in 15 min on gameday. Have a feeling they are in big trouble but be walking out with a million + payday.
 
And LSU is playing Louisiana Tech....heard they are starting the cheerleaders...but they have to check with the SEC, the Supreme Court and Elon Musk first!

I have yet to see VT play this year but James Franklin brought 12 players with him from Penn State including Ethan Grunkemeyer and tight end Luke Reynolds. I imagine they are going to be pretty-good.
 
I am looking at the schedule for today....I understand easy early games to a certain extent.... But come on.. Virginia is playing Norfolk ST. and the line is -46.5. Is that for the first half?? Is that after they put in the third string?? The total is 55.5..... bet the over, they will score that much by the 3rd quarter. Norfolk lost to ODU 31 to 10 last week. And ODU has a team no where close to Virginia.

Add Louisville playing Villanova ..... for the love of Pete, better take life insurance out on Villanova's QB!!! Louisville is -37.5 with O/U at 56.5! I am gonna be able to buy some MAC gear with my winnings from these lines.

I'm not a betting man, but the line odds are sometimes a useful indicator for games. Last night the line for the Miami game was -55.5 and they just blew out poor Florida A&M 77-7.

I'm pulling for Boston College (line -3), and Kansas (+5.5) to upset Missouri.

Saturday is a day away, too early to look that far ahead. ;)
 
That Miami game was hard to even watch.... I hope A&M got paid really good!
EDIT: Just for information purposes....I took the over in BOTH games.
 
This sh%t putting games on Disney + and then when you sign in they say sorry you have to pay MORE for ESPN + too. Eff you.
